Meet Aaron Murphy
Originally from Wisconsin. Proud to call El Paso home.
If you ask me to tell you about myself, I'll probably start with coffee, family, golf, and travel long before we ever get to real estate.
I grew up in Wisconsin, and if you had told me years ago that I'd end up calling El Paso home, I probably wouldn't have believed you.
After serving in the Army at Fort Bliss, I had the chance to move almost anywhere.
Instead, I stayed.
Somewhere along the way, El Paso stopped feeling like a duty station and started feeling like home.
The mountains, the sunsets, the food, the people-it all just fit.
Now it's where my family is growing, where I'm building friendships, and where I hope to stay for a very long time.
One of my favorite things to do is sit down over coffee and just catch up with people.
Sometimes we talk about real estate.
Most of the time we don't.
Some of my favorite conversations have been about parenting, travel, golf, careers, or whatever random rabbit trail the conversation decides to take.
If you're looking for someone who enjoys getting to know people beyond the transaction, I'm always happy to meet for coffee.
I absolutely love golf.
Am I good at it?
Not even close.
But that's kind of why I enjoy it.
Golf has a funny way of teaching patience, celebrating small improvements, and reminding you not to take yourself too seriously.
My wife and I are raising our son here in El Paso, and there's nothing I'd rather invest my time in.
Watching him grow, explore, ask impossible questions, and keep us laughing has completely changed my perspective on life.
I'm also incredibly fortunate to have a wife who supports every crazy idea I come up with and reminds me what's actually important.
I love traveling, especially anywhere that lets me experience somewhere I've never been before.
Mexico has become one of my favorite places to visit, and cruises are probably my favorite vacation because every trip introduces another city, another culture, and another adventure.
I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing new places.
